We start with our flagship ingredient. More than a thousand studies document the effects of bovine colostrum — here is what the research supports, and how we apply it. The rest of the range will get the same treatment as we publish it.

Science does not say to take supplements. It says that certain ingredients, at precise concentrations, produce measurable effects. That is what we work from.

Three documented areas

Immunity

Immunoglobulin G from colostrum has been associated with a reduced frequency of respiratory infections, with effects observed from around three weeks of daily use. Shing et al., 2016.

Gut

Lactoferrin and secretory IgA act on the intestinal barrier and have been shown to reduce permeability, with a positive effect on the microbiome. Playford et al., 2001.

Recovery

IGF-1 and IGF-2 support protein synthesis and have been associated with reduced post-exercise muscle damage. Buckley et al., 2002.

Immunoglobulins — the key active

Immunoglobulins of type G are the predominant antibodies in colostrum. They recognise, bind and neutralise pathogens before they cross the intestinal mucosa.

Both our formats are standardised to the same concentration. What differs is the size of the serving, and we print the milligrams alongside because that is the figure that actually reaches you:

• Capsules — 25% IgG, 125 mg per 500 mg capsule

What is in the jar

Over 200 bioactive nutrients occur naturally in colostrum and are preserved by our low-temperature process.

• Immunoglobulins — IgG, IgA and IgM, natural antibodies active at the mucosal surface
• Lactoferrin — a multipotent glycoprotein with antibacterial and immunomodulatory properties
• Growth factors — IGF-1 and IGF-2, supporting cellular regeneration and protein synthesis
• Bioactive peptides — protein fragments with antimicrobial and immune-modulating activity

Where we differ

Most colostrum sold online is not standardised at all. IgG can swing widely between batches, and the serving size is rarely stated next to it. We fix both: each product is standardised to a certified concentration, and the milligrams of IgG per serving are printed alongside.

A high percentage on a tiny serving is not a better product. We would rather you could check that for yourself.
